Produced exclusively for Blade HQ, this stunning expression of Spyderco’s Para Military 2 combines a high-performance blade steel and coating with Blade HQ’s signature natural-colored G-10 handle scales. The blade of this knife is precision machined from CPM M4, a special-purpose high speed tool steel produced by the particle metallurgy process. A popular material for high-performance custom blades and knives used in competitive cutting, its advanced alloy composition, high vanadium content, and extremely fine grain structure give it exceptional wear resistance and toughness. In a knife blade, these properties translate to outstanding edge retention and superior impact resistance. This knife's PlainEdge™ blade is full-flat ground for low-friction cutting performance and proudly features Spyderco's signature Trademark Round Hole™ for swift, ambidextrous one-handed opening. It is also coated with a tough Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) coating to help protect the non-stainless tool steel from corrosion and make it non-reflective.

The handle of this unique knife features natural G-10 scales, nested stainless steel liners, and a lightweight, easily cleaned, open-backed construction style. Its liners form the foundation of the knife's Compression Lock® mechanism—a signature lock that offers extreme strength and safe, convenient, one-handed operation. A four-position pocket clip supports left or right-side tip-up or tip-down carry and a generously sized lined lanyard hole allows easy attachment of lanyards or fobs.
