Re: Ok, could it be that LC200N fares better against Magnacut than some might think?

I’m also of the opinion that Magnacut, LC200N, and H2 are not competitors, nor could one replace the other. They all fill different niches within the salt series, and Magnacut represents an expansion of what we have available to us. It’s great to have more salt-worthy options!

Re: Your Ideal Folder for Hiking & Backpacking is....

Pac Salt 2. The weight to functionality ratio is impressive, and the blade is long enough to make food prep enjoyable. Likely I would take the FFG LC200N model as it is ever so slightly lighter and the hollow grind on the H1 I find slightly less enjoyable for food prep. PE either way, although to be...

I would love an Endela Salt. I hope there’s one in the queue somewhere.

I would love it almost as much as I would love a Saltjumper. 😁

Re: Has anybody been testing H2 yet?

I haven’t done any remotely scientific testing but I’ve carried an H2 Atlantic Salt every day at work for the past year or so. I haven’t noticed any difference between H1 and H2 but I would love to hear if anyone has.

At work, an Atlantic Salt.

At home, either a Salt 2 or an M390 Delica.

In the woods, a Subway Bowie.

There is a place that I have no experience with... AZWELKE. Maybe somebody else here does?
I bought some sheaths from azwelke a few years ago and they were great. It was before I knew about mules so I can’t comment on their mule sheaths specifically.

Re: Red & Black Holiday Sale!

I picked up another Siren. I’m bummed that it seems to not be selling all that well. It’s a really fantastic knife. I’m still hoping there might be a lightweight magnacut model or another sprint somewhere down the road.

Re: Stok

I can't remember a new release ever being ignored this much. No one on the forum has tried one? I would have thought that the Stok would be right up my alley as I love small fixed blades but the design just didn't speak to me when I first saw it. I might feel differently if I had a chance to actual...

Re: Siren in Magnacut?

A Siren XL would be awesome. I really like Lance's design work on both the Waterway and the Siren and I was really bummed to see them discontinued. I even bought a CF/S90V Siren to be my one "fancy" knife. Maybe the market niche for those just isn't as big as everyone hoped?

Re: Salt 2 Standard vs. Wharncliffe - Different enough?

but are they different enough to justify having both? I justified it! :beaming-face I really like the Wharnie as a work knife, but I end up carrying the Salt 2 much more frequently at home, and when I'm actually at my job I prefer a true sheepsfoot so my Atlantic Salt gets 99% of the pocket time th...

Re: Forum Knife???

I'm probably not inclined to buy a Spy27 UKPK - unless it's a forum knife, and then I'm in. I've learned so much from the community here that I would happily shell out for some special engraving on the existing knife.
