Re: Get me excited about M398

Out of the 3 steels when first announced, this was the “meh” of the bunch for me. But the more I’m figuring out about everyday/every situation knives, this might have the best promise with its long lasting edge and good corrosion resistance. It sounds like the least picky in terms of maintenance and...

Re: Get me excited about M398

More Carbon and more Vanadium, more is better! Or something like that…. Edge holding on Larrins chart looks awesome. How’s that for exciting?

I got 2 this time and handles. Now, even if I give one as a gift, Stainless is easier for people to take care of.

Re: My daughter has been indoctrinated

I’ve been thinking of that exact model for my 8 yo daughter. Also teal is her favorite color. May I ask how old your daughter is and is she doing okay with the size and back lock? She is actually 18, not even by a month yet. I just wanted her to have a good knife, for opening mail or a package or j...

Re: Hazy Design Studio scales

I just ordered 2 for myself, one for now and one for my next mule drop! Glad to hear quality is spot on. Your review makes me feel better, about my purchase too!

Thanks!

Re: Cpm-T15

I’m pleasantly surprised with the 76, I purchased it to at least have a mule in case I missed out like I did in February. Originally, I planned to be all in on the T15 getting 2, but looking at the posted steel chart the M398 looks like a winner too. Next, I’m going to have to learn how to make hand...

Re: 1st Mule Team purchase: Tried to give me a heart attack

First Mule here too, first Spyderco at that! I really want the REX T15, but I’m ecstatic to know I got my order in for this one. I missed the last drop due to an illness. Now I got one! I can’t wait to try this one out. I have a feeling collecting these are slightly addictive 😁.
