Re: FRN Jester Sprint Input Needed
Great to see this thread bumped to the top. The color poll doesn't make me happy, but a steel upgrade to K390 would enable me to ignore whatever color Sal wanted to put together. I'm still ready to buy whenever can make this a reality again.

Re: Please Pardon the shameful sales pitch - Rock Jumper
Thank you for the insight to the design Sal. I never had a complaint about the Delica or the Endura with regards to their size or handle fitment to my grip. The Endela just doesn't seem to fill any void for me. That being said, I love the edge length vs blade length of the Resilience and Tenacious s...

I would still buy an SE version regardless of color or screwed/pinned construction. JD's enthusiastic crusades for classic models can hopefully break the doors off the hinges of reinvigorating old models for newer generations of Spydie fans. Perhaps the Breeden models could be next. Hey dude if you...

They are fairly common here. The symmetry and spread of that one is something I haven't seen in person since I was in my teens. What are you more accustomed to seeing?bearfacedkiller wrote: ↑Mon Aug 24, 2020 1:24 pmWe don’t really get racks like that around here. Very impressive!!!

Dinner prep tonight and I have been wanting to see how slicey my new Bow River feel. Must say I am very pleased with how it feels on the cutting board. I may need a small edc sized PW custom in the future.

Re: Seconds Sale 2020
...It would be a shame if Spyderco can't find a way to pull off a seconds sale this year. If they decided it's not possible it seems like cancelling it for this year is probably the best solution This could boost inventory for a 2021 sale. I'd totally be down for that. As for a mystery box, I purch...

Re: Pick a first Benchmade
I've tried my hand at several different BM models. The following are my favorites: 705, 707, 710, 943, 960. These are either Osborne or McHenry/Williams. I still have almost all of my originals with the exception of a few high speed tool steel models that have long been sold. Lately, I have seen a f...

Re: Where Can I Buy/Sell Discontinued Models Without Supporting The Flippers?
The buy/sell/trade portion of Bladeforums is probably the best place to avoid supporting the flippers. I will use eBay but it helps to look for long discontinued models which requires patience if you are interested in something that just sold out on 2020.

Re: Any archery nuts here?
I rarely hunt anymore which is more time prohibited than desire. My 25 year old Hoyt Mystic still shoots terrific and brings a smile with each shot. Not a bad way to invest $100. I think I have more money in target points and knocks than I originally spent on the bow.

If you are interested in a compromise, husqvarna has their axes made by Hultafors Burks. Their hatchet is in the $49 range.

Re: Hatchets & Tomahawks?
I've been meaning to pick up one of the Cold Steel Viking hand axes for some time now. Despite their handle length as sold, the shape of the handle and fitment of the head make it more of a tomahawk in my opinion. I know that purchasing almost any of the low cost tools from CS can mean a tinkering p...

Re: Talking about your traditional knives
That is a real bummer. I like them but the after market price is too steep for me. BTW, spoke with my friend Austin of Traditional Pocket Knives. His batch of 33 Conductors in stag sold out in 4 minutes. I didn’t get one because I decided to save some $s. The feeding frenzy for traditionals at stor...
