Re: Stok
I was gifted one this past Christmas, I opened it up, looked at it, smiled big and said thank you. Found it in my toolbox this past week, I had completely forgotten about it, don’t care much for it…at all, I certainly wouldn’t have bought it for myself.

Re: Your favorite color combination?
Just on some knives I own… Knifeworks Forest Green. Not a sprint but my Foliage Green G-10 Dragonfly. Possibly my favorite color ever! I love my Gray G-10 diamond patterned Manix with Cru-wear, but I like the darker Gray G-10 on the Massad Ayoob sprint just a little more. Greens & Grays and I’m ...

Re: The Last Gun You Bought
Consider me wayyy late to the CZ party, this Shadow 2 makes me as happy with a new gun purchase as I’ve been in a very long time! The only problem I can see is I’ve gone through 2/3 a case of S&B ammo in a couple of weeks! This purchase came out of nowhere, a HK USP Expert 9mm was definitely on ...

Re: The Last Gun You Bought
I'd like a recommendation for a 3.5 to 4.5 inch 9mm. It must have a real safety ( I already have Glocks and don't consider this a real safety) . 10 round minimum with 15 preferred. Under $600. HK P30L V3, 4.45” barrel. Standard P30 V3, 3.85” barrel. These two first came to mind….then you said under...

Re: An ongoing mystery: Why still no ffg Manix 2 SE? (NOT meant as a complaint)
serrations are fragile and the Manix 2 is more of a tough knife. That has not been my experience. I've found that serrations cut some tough materials better than a plain edge. When the job is complete, the serrated edge is still suitable for continued use, while the plain edge can be disappointingl...

I think the mechanical goodness of this design in such a small package is very cool!

Re: WSJ - Best Chef's Knives
Production Shun’s you can get from Williams-Sonoma is what got me started, I have four of them and use them all, great knives. But….my Muneishi Santoku was a complete eye opener, love this knife! I do plan on having a custom made from a forum member who regularly frequents Glocktalk, I know I want 8...

Re: Generational Classifications: Do You Identify?
Born in 1965, so technically Gen X. Got to be a kid in the seventies and eighties and it was awesome! Stayed outside from sun up to sun down, learned to build and fix things, then break them and fix them again! I was turned loose with both a chainsaw and a Marlin .22 lever rifle at the age of 12, an...

Re: Dragonfly vs. Lil' Native
I own four Dragonfly's, couldn't tell you the last time I carried one? Years! I also have a Compression Lock Lil' Native, never carry it either. But both fantastic little knives. My go to small knife now is a K390 Lil' Temperance, carrying it right now. But...a Back Lock G-10 Lil' Native with serrat...

Re: My First Bento Box Shop Experience
Back in 2017, it was $190 ($221 out the door). To this day, it is my favorite PM2 and Spyderco. For a while I thought about getting a backup, but haven't yet. Seems like price is creeping up the longer I wait. If I had to replace it, I would pay what it goes for. Few of us here have been asking for...

Re: CRUWEAR Is now my Favorite SE blade steel
I really like my SE Ayoob, but I LOVE my Cru-wear Manix 2 sprint run, a serrated Cru-Wear Manix would be an instant buy for me, maybe two of them!
