Re: Family friendly jokes

I went to the psychiatrist yesterday. She told me I had a split personality and charged me $160.

I gave her $80 and told her to collect the rest from the other guy.

I love this knife, but wish for Nishijin

I love this knife. I wish it had nishijin scales in black or blue (maybe red). This is the coolest little knife and does most things well. Here it is along with an Italian Delta Spaccanapoli Doria D'Angri fountain pen. https://i.postimg.cc/Wb7YmnPB/IMG-2967.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/VkLGKCfd/IMG-2969...

Re: Family friendly jokes

Brother John entered the Monastery of Silence and the Chief Priest said: “Brother, this is a silent monastery, you are welcome here as long as you like, but you may not speak until I direct you to do so.” Brother John lived in the monastery for a full year before the Chief Priest said to him: “Broth...

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?

I used my UKPK to cut some duct tape from around a pipe. It had gotten to be a half inch thick and was no longer doing its job. That UKPK is so sharp it went through that wad of tape like grass through a goose.

Re: Salt Dreams

With all of the new salts coming out I can’t help but imagine what a Pacific Salt 3 could look like… maybe it can have Black and Green scales like the Magnacut Pm2 or Caribbean but with a Magnacut blade. One could dream The siren in an frn configuration that is black and green would also be really ...

Re: Stable edge steels (NOT TOUGHNESS)

Personally, I'd like to see 14C28N in some knives. It is tough like AEB-L/13C26, but is a stainless nitrogen steel.

Re: Tell Me About The Serrated Z-Cuts

Must have been a bad heat treat on a batch of knives. I have cut all sorts of food with mine and there has never been an issue. It isn't the first choice for harder things, but sometimes I am just too old and lazy to fish for another knife when the Z-Cut is at hand. I even regularly cut 1kg roasts, ...

It's an absolute tomato killer, but for firm red onions, not so much, just a little too thin and flimsy.
I've never had an issue with onions, potatoes, carrots, whatever. I don't force the blade, I let the edge do the work. The Z goes through them like a light saber.

Re: Tell Me About The Serrated Z-Cuts

I have used these knives to cut roasts. They work amazingly. I have other knives for this job, but a few times these were within easy reach. No issues. Did a very fine job, even though this is not what they were designed for. Tomatoes and other fruit, plus vegetables are easily cut with one of these.

Re: Tell Me About The Serrated Z-Cuts

I think this is one of the best products, ever. I have two and will probably get another one. They cut through anything and because of the handle, knuckles don't make contact. This is a definite must buy.

Re: EMP Proof Mechanical Only Devices?

EMP can be produced by electromagnetic bombs (E-bombs), so there is no need for a nuclear attack. A Faraday cage would protect everything until the blast is past (milliseconds). As Jim Malone said, a simple microwave would protect smaller things, such as a laptop, iPad, cellphone, car remotes, etc. ...

Re: Family friendly jokes

A man is in bed with his wife when there is a knock on the door. He rolls over and looks at his clock, and it’s half past three in the morning. “I’m not getting out of bed at this time,” he thinks, and rolls over. Then, a louder knock follows. “Aren’t you going to answer that?” says his wife. So he ...

Re: Family friendly jokes

There were two men working for the city. One would dig and dig and dig until a deep hole in the ground appeared. The other would come behind him and fill the hole with piles of dirt. The two men worked furiously: one digging a hole, the other filling it up again. A man was watching the pair from the...

If Spyderco makes another double bladed knife, perhaps they should keep it humpless and have both blades on the same end of the handle.
