Airport Security

My partner and I were Watching CNN at work last night and felt really sorry for those people flying these days. People were being forced to throw away all liquids and gells ie: lip gloss, soda etc. and people were bieng forced to "taste" their kids formulas before being allowed aboard. Sig...

I love these venting sesions! Unfortunately I disagree with a lot of what's being said. 1) Exxon-Mobil, just like all other foreign oil companies (BP, Citgo etc.) are legaly and moraly obligated to make as much money as the free market would allow. Kinda like you would if you own the last orange orc...

If you don't want to wait for the acetone to work. I used a dremel with a felt pad attachment and some polishing compound. This works great and fast (5mins a clip).

I like Ken's idea about a hole.
That way, they can squat and face which ever way they want and everybody's happy. :)

Trust me. That Stalker has seen better days. There are chips in that blade that would take years to sharpen out, the blade is scratched to ****, and the brass is completely green in some spots. I could restore it, but it will never be worth what it would if it was new. It was thse second knife I ev...

Severedthumbs is right about the salt not decreasing. (I've been in the Marine aquaria hobby for years) you might want to use a hydrometer to test the salinity for consistency. Oh yeah! I cant believe you are putting a Blackjack Stalker in the tank  :( ( I love them second only to :spyder...

My Micarta Caly Jr. is my favorite :spyder: The Micarta used in it, Linen (I think), seemed lighter and less dense than my non :spyder: Micarta knives.(a Blackjack AWAC and an FLT-1 (Seki) folder).

My vote is on the D4. I have both it and the Native and love using them as EDC's. If you like your old Delica the new D4 will really blow your mind! It's like a new more "manly" Delica. I stopped carrying my old one because I found it too "girly" :o and replaced it with the Nativ...

KBR, Thank God! I'm not alone in the Benchmade guilt department! I have always admired BM's as my brother loves them as much as I love :spyder: 's. I was ready to buy a Yojimbo until he showed me his current BM catalog and my eyes fell on the Gravitator (425, Snody) . Now all my knife monies a...

Living 20mins south of the Quebec border here in NY, I cross it fairly often. Recently the border guards had been specifically asking about knives. What's up with that? Now I have to make sure that I keep my EDCs at home just in case they do their "random" vehicle checks. This is harder th...

The Calypso JR is more of a "finnesse" knife than most Spydies which are famouse for their "robust" blades. I love my Micarta version. It can handl anything short of cutting hemp ship riggings. As an office knife, it has no equal. :)

Thanks for all your opinions! :) While I agree with you all that the :spyder: on the blade might not work on all the blades, It just seemes the logical way of making our knives more identifiable. If someone opens an Al Mar, you know it's an Al Mar. And as I said, we can't really rely on our "ho...
