the problem with spyderco's production timelines is that i wanted this knife back when the lw was released. since then, i've purchased four heavyweight manixes (m390, 204p, 15v, and s30v). not much use for a spy27 at this point, except for maybe just because it's my favorite knife and it's in a spy...

What a wonderful surprise seeing the G10 Manix finally getting a Spy-27 version! Great job Spyderco now i have 4 spydies i need to save up for this year! Thank god releases in Europe always come later on!

... Lock is big problem. I think the strong lock actually is a big plus on the Manix, way better than for example an axxis lock. The CBBL keeps the knife securely closed in pocket. I could imagine that it just takes a little time of getting used to and "training" till you find the CBBL ea...

Eventough i find it appealing for my Se Brothers i would personally not buy one as i collect PE Manixes.
So i voted both appealing and i will pass in this vote…

That is a fun detail. Probably it will be either something with the manufactering proces or it could also be an assambly worker putting pride in to his work. I have said it a thousand times and i stand by it. If you never handled or used the Original Manixes you can not say its better or worse then the Manix 2's. People here complain about the bladestock being a mm more so it must cut worse. No it does not.... i can slice and dice everything with my orig...
