Not mine, it must be one of my most carried Spydercos and also one of my favorite food prep knives.

Re: Ikuchi, the best Spyderco folding filet knife?
While the Catcherman might most likely indeed be a better option for a fileting knife, the Ikuchi is arguably a better all-around edc, I have been carrying/using mine quite a lot and there is no task it wouldn't handle with aplomb and panache

Re: Catcherman LC200N Sprint Run
The more I use this knife, the more I like it.
Amazing the level of detailed tip work one can do without needing some humongous choil .
This should illustrate the very definition of 'slicey' in any dictionary.

Re: Catcherman LC200N Sprint Run
No fisherman here either, but I've been using the Catcherman in the kitchen and it's an absolute beast of a performer. Love everything about it, including the old school integral clip. Might need a backup before they are gone ;) https://i.imgur.com/nIiGvE6.jpg https://i.imgur.com/Be6ncWm.jpg https:/...

Re: Seki City back lock quality in 2022?
My brand new XL Stretch Salt has gaps between the scales and lock https://i.imgur.com/mJkJ6aX.jpg and the blade slightly rubs against the left scale. On the bright side there is no bladeplay and that's more important to me so I haven't played with the pivot yet. I wouldn't consider this faulty quali...

Re: Stretch XL Salt Observations
Got my Stretch XL. While I absolutely hate the mega(lodon) choil and hope it goes similarly extinct at some point ;) , I'm quite liking the rest of the package so to speak, particularly the fine point and the sabre hollow grind. Construction-wise there are some unseemly gaps between the scales and l...

Re: It's About Time For: A Full SE Catcherman
Not interested. From what I can see so far, the LC200N sprint run will fit my needs like a glove. I guess I would be interested in trying out other steels baked in the current recipe (CE, only 3 scallops of serrations, original handle with integral clip).

Re: Catcherman LC200N Sprint Run
Loving it (says the armchair fisherman ;) ). Love the blade shape, the thinness of it, the integral clip, the overall size, the 3 scallops of serrations and no more, the overall length and in-hand balance. Don’t think I’ve been this impressed with a Spyderco ever since getting the Watu some 4 years ...

Re: Catcherman LC200N Sprint Run
Mine should be here as well in a couple of days, this is one of my most anticipated knives of the year, haven't been this thrilled about getting a Spyderco for quite a while now ;) . Also throwed an XL Stretch in the cart (despite my utter and complete dislike of the mega-choil), looking forward to ...

Re: Military 2 CF s90v sprint run
I don't care much (or at all ) for the M2, but I'll most likely be getting the S90V, if only to bring a new play pal to these fellas

Re: Upping the price.
This ^. It's that simple. It really worked (for me), although for me it was not price but rather the aversion to the mega-choil that stopped dead most of my Spyderco purchases.

Re: Military Sprint Runs No More?
While I like the new Military 2 version, to me it’s a larger PM2 and not so much a “Military” anymore. I’m not writing this to provoke a discussion about their relative merits or how one can’t stop the flow of “progress” — just a personal opinion from someone who’s a huge fan of the original. Absol...

Re: Microtech Atreus
Interested as well. Price point would entirely depend on their strategy: 1800-ish would allow them to reap most benefits from the Deadlock demographics, while 1000-ish would massively undercut competition (including SOG). The build quality in Gen 3 MTs is absolutely fantastic, so personally I wouldn...

Re: Calypso Jr Sprint Run Considerations
A Calypso Jr. sprint is one of the very few Spydercos I'd be interested in buying. The only CQI it needs is better build quality / attention to details from the maker.
