Re: The Harpy, too good to resist....
Dang, talk about your resurrected threads! Love my Tasman so I wouldn't be averse to trying a Harpy.

Re: Reveal 15 - Live!
Nothing in 15 really exciting for me except the PE Temperance. I am patiently waiting for the Spy27 Chief and the Magnacut UKPK to hit the shelves.

Re: CCI Velacitors
The Velocitors cycle well in all of my handguns, including Ruger MK I, II, III, and IV. It's a great round.

Re: Reveal 15 - Live!
I have a couple of small fixed blades out of Maniago that are just superb. No quality issues whatsoever and the leatherwork on the sheaths is some of the best I've seen.

Re: Dragonfly Salt Hawkbill
I hear you. I have the Ladybug Salt and Tasman Salt SE as well. I use and enjoy them both, just not to the same degree as the Dragonfly, I just want the serrated edge to last a little longer than the H1/H2 affords me. The SE Magnacut on my Native 5 Salt holds up noticeably longer.

Dragonfly Salt Hawkbill
I have more Dragonfly models than any rationalization can justify, and it's a pretty good bet one of them will be occupying my fifth pocket on any given day. I usually remove the clip and tie a short pinky lanyard on my favorites. Even though I think of them as my backup to a larger knife, the DF is...

The original Sharpmaker is the most versatile. That's where I'd start.

Re: Best spyderco sharpener for serrated knives
I have all 3 sharpeners and use them all effectively. I wish Spyderco would come up with a multi-angle base for the cats eye rods. Also wanted to note that the Doublestuff 2 is an excellent field sharpener for serrated edges if you're comfortable with free handing. Golden Stone is no slouch in that ...

Re: Anyone want to see Vanax in the salt series?
Absolutely gorgeous. I don´t understand why there aren´t production fillet knives in rust proof steels. Vanax, understandably, would probably be pricey, but I´d still buy one. But now that we´re chatting... I was watching Larrin in a Buck knives promotion where he is being interviewed by Zack (form...

Re: Anyone Else Up For a Resilience in CPM-M4?
Hmmm ... I tore my S35 Resilience down and re-scaled it in micarta. It's been a little while, but I don't remember having any difficulties taking it apart or reassembling it.

Count me in on the Chappy XL. It's a great idea and I hope it gets some legs.

Tip up and deep carry clips on most knives. I put custom micarta scales on my S110 Millie primarily because they allowed me to spec a tip up clip config.
