I also recently bought the CC2 frn. My experience totally matches yours. F&F vs cost are way beyond what i would have expected. I had thought that the longer bladed Spydie/byrd knives would be too much knife for my needs. Was I wrong. It has become the 'go to' in my, admittedly small, collection...
