A new Salsa would fit in perfectly with my new K390 Lil’ Temperance, I’m in!

Re: Cricket Lightweight

This thread made me dig this old girl out! I’ve never abused a knife like I have this one! A month or so back I was at a large gun shop in Charlotte, they had a new RIL Cricket in the case, I asked the salesman if I could see it….my old liner lock Cricket here would cut that new one in half, as far ...

(I said I'd like any model, with a preference for older ones, but If i had any choice, it'd be a Native 5 with the og blade pattern, deeper hollow)
I like this….in Cru-wear!

Re: Knipex tools )))

Looking forward to trying these new little Cobra XS pliers! Couple of Snap-On pliers on the right, both great. I love Snap-On tools but I honestly think Knipex makes the best pliers on the planet! My favorite out of this bunch are the 7” Cobra’s and the side cutters, but they’re all great. IMG_3538....

My serrated K390 Leafjumper is awesome, it's in my pocket right this second. I'd grab it!

Hi Al, Contact Peter Jhones at Spyderco. He's the manager of Research and Development. He also handles legal stuff. pjhones@spyderco.com You have to do some paperwork to protect both of us. I've already emailed Peter about this thread and brought him into the loop. sal Thanks Sal, I’ll crack on wit...

Re: Fixed blade EDC

My most commonly-carried edc fixie is this LT Wright Frontier Valley in A2. It’s about 3, similar to the Bradford Guardian 3. https://i.imgur.com/N62KZF8.jpg The stock JRE sheath is really nice, but I picked up an aftermarket horizontal carry sheath from Delta Knife + Sheath that is even less consp...

Re: Fixed blade EDC

I own two Makos, one in M390 and one in Rex 121. It's pretty much a highly refined, evolved Enuff. The handle/blade ratio is (like the Enuff) quite a lot of handle per blade. I don't mind that at all, even though I was thinking I might. Having the relatively large handle makes the knife more comfor...

Re: Fixed blade EDC

Handled a Guardian 3 in AEB-L for the first time at a gun show this past weekend, I’ve never seen or held one before. My very first thought was….it’s just way too small for me! But actually thinking back since then, it seems perfect for what it’s designed for. Could have got it for $150, wishing now...

Great read, thank you. And the fact that you spelled "piqued" correctly is just icing on the cake! ;)

Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???

Gun show tomorrow in Hickory, NC. There’s a vendor that’s always there that has plenty of Helle and Protech knives, I’ve been tempted plenty of times on several different Protech models! The last one was a Strider collaboration in MagnaCut, very nice knife! Dang, that gun show in Hickory, NC is tem...

Re: Different knife different day, or one knife for life?

I’ve owned and collected Spyderco’s for long enough that I know exactly what I like, and what works for me. I’m carrying probably five or six dedicated knives these days, and I swear I’ve told myself I’m gonna have a fire sale someday soon and get my collection down to around five knives, or definit...
