Man, everytime this thread get a new post my heart skips a beat because I think it has arrived, the Crucarta proficient

I think materials that change appearance on a knife build character or oersonality on the knife over time.

That's what I like about carbon steels getting a patina that changes with use, blade coatings that wear off in its own pattern over time, wood and micarta that change color over time...

The Mantra is all I need,
great materials, size, ergos...
