42 minutes....plenty of time for anyone who really wanted one to score, even if they used dialup:)

Yep, perfect sale. Hats off to St. Nicks. Zero server issues, 42 minutes was plenty of time to get one, and they sold out, so they can plow those proceeds into the next exclusive. 4V Military and 4V Native both sound great to me!

Surprised those Delicas are still in stock. Those are amazing little knives.
Was it the price or was it the knife that worked this time for them to sell out? A combination of both?

Not to steal the thunder of this gorgeous looking sprint, but does anyone know the expected release date of the Cutlery Shoppe para 3?

I think it was both plus the allure of a steel that hasn't been used in a Spyderco folder before. I'm pretty sure if the Delica was closer to $150-$160 they'd be gone by now.

I also want to thank those here for getting the details out for others.

Absolutely, good point! This forum is such a great resource. There are so many new dealers popping up and new exclusives with them. I had to be a lot more selective this year than last. Sad to have missed out on some, but this is not a bad thing by any means. Keep 'em coming! :D
I've been lurking around this forum here and there for around a year. This thread is the one that convinced me to join last week, and yes...I also scored one of these, because of this forum. Thank you Pat for the OP 😁

I agree, put it in the range of the Pakkawood...which is my favorite variant of the Delica. Even if it were priced the same, I think I'd still choose the Pakkawood. Amazing knife.

Basically any Para 3 in a new steel is going to sell out quick at $160 or less. There are a lot of people who collect every Para 3. There are some people who try to have at least one knife of every steel and 4V is new to Spyderco folders. There are a bunch of people who have been waiting on a sub-$400 folder in 4V, 3V, and V4E since the only place to get that prior to this release was Strider, Hinderer, or custom. The Red/DLC looks plain cool. Lots of reasons. :) Lots of reasons to do this combo in the Military, Native, Shaman, Manix, etc as well. :D I would love to see a deep red FRN Native LW and Manix LW with DLC 4V.

I was watching it go down with deadboxhero on YouTube. It was like new years for knives lol. It was surprisingly fun.

I have been following their Delica for a little while. I just bought the Para 3 exclusive and almost got both. I just don't really love the Delica, Ive got a couple and they are sufficient. My favorite of their Japanese knives is the Dragonfly 2 which I have several of.

This Para 3 went quick and I think the resale could end up very high. It's specced out very, very nicely.

This is like the opposite of the BBS M390, together they are fire and ice. lol

4 on the bay now. The last two are undercutting the first 2. $289 and $285...it's a race to the bottom! Lol.

Of course I missed this! How long did it take to sell out? Any idea if they will release more?

Sold out in ~45 mins! I doubt you will see the Para 3 again. I would expect them to do different models in this scheme.

I smell a PM2 coming :). I will make sure not to sleep on that one. Did they limit how many per customer or was it a free for all? How many total pieces were sold?

Thank you!

On their Instagram, someone asked if they were planning to do this steel/color combination for the Paramilitary 2 model. They said they planned to, but not for a while.

At 7:00 when the knife was orderable, their stock count said 596. It dropped to less than 300 in 2-3 minutes! Limited to one per customer.

I’d love to see a 3V/4V PM2... not huge on the red and black but I would buy it in just about any color for that steel.

Congrats to everyone who got in on this phenomenal looking knife and props to Saint Nick’s Knives for instituting the necessary changes to make this such a hot exclusive!

Let’s hope this is the start of something beautiful for us consumers and SNK. :)

I’d LOVE to see a G10 Native in those fantastic colors soon. I feel like the Native 5 has been a bit neglected lately when it comes to sprints/exclusives but always pops up in threads as highly desirable.
