Just got my pre-order in. Hopefully I'll get one :D That's one classy looking little knife.
...now I just need to decide which knife I'm not going to buy so I can afford this one :( I think I'll let fate (or rather the release schedule) decide, which ever one gets here first wins.

I’d like to have this to complete the trio but already have the FRN version and need to cut back a little. There will be one more for everyone else!

$129 for such a tiny knife, I dunno. I think I'd pay the extra $25 or so and get the Delica. Looks good, it's just soo small and pricey. Unless of course your collecting all the pakkawoods.

For God's sake knivecenter. I already bought the pakkawood happy40 endura and delica, this is killing my wallet. I'll grab my creditcard already, fine fine.

There's a reason they call it a little big knife, if you've never had the pleasure of using one, I highly recommend. The thin flat grind on them makes them pocket scalpels, as long as you're not doing heavy utility, they make great EDC's.

Full liners, Backlock, premium steel, classy looking handles, this one checks all the boxes for me. It's going to pair nicely with my Fluted CF Native. And they really don't make a lot of Exclusive runs of the little knives. I passed on the pakkawood delica because I have the burnt orange, but there's no way I'm passing on this.

Will probably get this eventually but not in a rush... I believe the pakkawood delica and endura are still in stock and they were released last summer?

The delica is in stock because they got a second shipment after the first shipment sold out. The endura is not in stock, but awaiting the second shipment. Wonder if there will be two shipments of this one as well.

This is true, I have never handled a Dragonfly. I recently purchased the Chaparral and it's a top 2 fav Spyderco of mine thus far (I only have 5 in my collection). Something about that little knife I absolutely love! So I probably would enjoy a Dragonfly, but I've seen all the rave for the Delica, and am yet to own one so I'm thinking I'm going to pull the trigger on the Delica pakkawood first. I appreciate your breakdown/review though!

It’s pretty much a toss-up between the Dragonfly and Chaparral FRN. Somewhat “better” steel in the Chaparral, but VG-10 is no slouch. I suspect for everyone but steel junkies they are roughly equivalent. The ergos of the two knives are very different and even though they are roughly the same size and close to the same weight, the Dragonfly feels like a larger knife. I think it fits the hand better than a Chaparral.

If you don't have a Delica yet I understand your choice. The Pakkawood would make an awesome first Delica :D
