It's advertised as "over 90%". A very spicey rye; like a slightly smoother Wild Turkey 101 Rye.3rdGenRigger wrote:Nice...what percentage rye grain is that? Nothing like 100% rye grain.

I hope that you're not having that all at the same time. :DSpyderEdgeForever wrote:Ice water, tomato and vegetable juice, tea, hot chocolate, and root beer =)

Rye Whiskey is my favourite, but there's nothing like 100% rye grain...once you try it you can't go back. Except scotch...I do love the occasional scotch but they can be quite pricey. And beer is obviously the sweet nectar of the gods, but I just happen to not be drinking beer tonight.Blerv wrote:It's advertised as "over 90%". Blerv got me hooked on Rye, Bulleit and Wild Turkey 81 are my current favs. I also love a great dark beer, any dark beer, all dark beers really (I don't discriminate nearly as much with my beers as I do with my blades)

Had an Arrogant Bastard Ale at lunch and am currently enjoying a double Bombay Sapphire with a lemon twist.

My favourite beer of all time...with one of my favourite knives (And one close to making it into my top 5). The beer is aged for 66 days in oak whiskey casks and is 6.6%. Definitely my all time favourite, and the limited edition canned lager isn't bad either.

In the Adult Beverage catagory - typically some red wine - trending toward the sweeter side.
But recently I've been on a quest to find a new rum. I tend to take rum to the coast when we travel. I like a light, sweet rum with good body and deep flavor (a rare combination for a light rum) For years I've been working through my "stash" of Oronoco. Recently tried out Papa's Pilar
Very tastey. I think I've found my new "beach rum"

I drink a lot of gin. Usually with OJ or grapefruit juice. This is my afterwork unwinder tonight. A good local denver gin.
Other than booze I only drink water, iced tea and about a gallon of milk a week. I do love some of our great colorado craft beer as well.

Good southern sweet tea, Newcastle, and muscadine wine most of the time.

Water and coffee.
I've really been enjoying Rebecca Creek Whiskey lately. Very smooth and its made in Texas.
I also like Blue Moon (Made in Golden, CO). Golden really pumps out some quality products.

Re: What are ya drinkin????
Blue moon is not made in Golden, CO. Blue moon was originally developed at the Sand Lot Brewery which a brewpub in Coors field where the Colorado Rockies play in Denver Colorado. The Sand Lot Brewery is/was owned by MolsonCoors (now MillerCoors) the then parent company of both Molson and Coors after Coors bought out Molsen a few years earlier. When the decision was made to produce Blue Moon in large quantities it was decided that it would be brewed at the Molson brewery in Montreal, Quebec and has been ever since. The beer is brewed under the sub unit of MolsonCoors called the Blue Moon Brewing Company which is based in Golden, Colorado where the original Coors Brewery is. Blue Moon is basically a Coors product brewed at their Molson plant in Canada. All Blue Moon is actually imported beer.
