It's only going to get weirder. Rocky Mountain got bought by Evraz years ago, and they are having a hard time selling because of our current relationship with Russia. No American companies seem to want them.

I sincerely hope Nippon brings 480 ft rail to the USA. We may be at the start of a railroad renaissance in the USA if they do. That would save me a lot of welds per string for cwr jobs, and vastly improve our chances of managing some high speed corridors.
