^Nah, Jim, you're not getting old haha! The blade has a really nice "mirror stonewash" finish, which looks beautiful in real life, but is an absolute PITA to capture a decent picture of on my iphone camera haha! It's the North Arm Skaha II. I got it a couple days ago and I'm loving it! It's very nicely done.


hah, this is the best I could do in my office lighting..you can see the reflections of the phone and scale on the mirror stonewash blade.. hah, idk, I don't think i'll ever be able to accurately reflect how nice it actually looks in a phone picture haha

I feel ya Rick! I've tried to capture the aggressive stonewash finish on my Guardian3 in 3V a few times before, but never looks as good as it does in person.

ALMOST grabbed my Zaan today as well, but opted for the Military. I find myself missing the Zaan whenever I don't have it though. It's broken in sooo nicely with use and a little fine tuning.

Thanks Dan! It really is a beautiful knife. Funny you mention the picture angles, because I've thought that same thing myself whenever I've taken photos haha! Some knives have to be shot a certain way it seems for the picture to turn out well, but you're right about this one...anything works! I find it one of the best deals out there on a knife you can get for $200. In terms of materials and style. Super smooth action as well.

What can I say? This knife is awesome. The action is so smooth. When i took it out of the box I accidentally dropped it and it landed on the flipper tab and the knife shot open. I was like ok, impressive. Lol. This knife is like if ZT knives were good. I’m not sure what to expect from this Chromax blade steel. The clip on this is really nice.
