You are correct sir.. I was missing a piece of my mechanical pencil. While flame anodizing it I burned out the nylon piece that retains the lead. The good people at County comm.com namely Mike) nice enough to send me a replacement nib.

Thanks Mike, new to "forums" forum.. still learning how to navigate. Show a little bit with posting pictures cuz every time it would tell me the file is too large, ended up screenshotting the picture I'm looking at on my phone and then posting that, but it kind of hurts the quality. Meandering my way through though. Thanks for the warm welcome
