I have been looking at that SE Wharnie Endela (VG-10) at NationalKnives since the discontinued list came out. And again just yesterday. Great price and I'm glad i can stop looking at it.
Picked one up about a month ago. For the discounted price i just couldnt say no. Really a wonderful edc knife. Almost considering picking up another

@Hopsbreath Nicely one. I, too, like K390.

This seems like the perfect place to point this out. Notice the laser engraved Spyder is different color on yellow salt. I wonder if it’s because of magnacut or a different process. The other manix are s110v,rex45,bd1,and 15v. I didn’t want to make a thread if I’m just stating a dumb observation. Image

Not a dumb observation at all.

I used to work for an aerospace company that laser marked their parts. (It wasn’t unique to this company, most do it.) Some of our gizmos had an aluminum case and others were stainless steel. Using the same laser marker on aluminum, the lettering would turn out dark brown, and the letters on stainless were black.

The metal must make the difference.

For those of you who have experienced both these handle shapes, which do you prefer ergonomically, the original clip-it series handle pattern, or essentially that but with a nicely shaped finger choil? I really love both. And I actually prefer both of these handle shapes to the delica, the fluid lines just fit my hand a little nicer, and I love the more subtle and rounded thumb ramp featured on the original clipit models like the worker, hunter, standard etc. even way back then sal was making very far from out dated designs, very high performance right from the beginning

Interesting bit in the May Byte, not sure if that was intentionally published.

Lil native: Brilliant little knife, beautiful action but Why the lack of jimping on this model?

It’s like Spyderco made the perfect burger but forgot to add the special sauce.
