This morning, much to my suprise, the mailman left a padded envelope for me in my mailbox. Inside of this envelope was a Spyderco "bug" pin, as well as an "ATR" pin (...An "ATR" pin?...Joyce, don't you know that I'm "into" the Police model?...:D), a nice steel/knife terms chart, and some Spyderco brochures. This all came about because Allen Treat (AET) emailed Joyce (@ Spyderco) to let her know that he had mailed a Spyderco pin to me that was torn out of the envelope prior to being delivered to me (I received an empty envelope with holes torn in it), and he asked if she could help to get a pin to me.
Joyce and Allen...I thank you from the bottom of my heart! I've been in kind of a "funk" lately, but this gift really helped to lift my spirits! It was totally "out of the blue", but very appreciated.
(...Now, if only that envelope would have included a PE Chinook II as a gift...:D.:D.).

PS...The ":D" in the above post were supposed to be "big smilies"...

Those are nice pins, I have them both, and they now ride atop our co ball hat. RKBA!

I've been thinking...Since I don't own an "ATR", if there is anyone here who does, and would like to have this "ATR" pin that Joyce sent to me, send me an email with your mailing address (USA only, please), and I'll send it to you.

Allen,
Either way would be fine with me, but no-one has taken me up on my offer yet, so my wife just might end-up with this "ATR" pin anyhow, as she said that she would wear it...
BTW...Thank-You for your help!...I have put my Spydie "Bug" pin on my work coat, right next to my 12 year pin and my American Flag pin.

My bug pin has been riding on my left collar of the jacket for a while. Have a 2nd bug(got one with my forum native) and an ATR pin also... Between the pin catching light and making ppl ask and my green hat that I always wear(not to mention my large carry assortment), I'm a walking billboard.
