The Dodo seems to be establishing a good following, and having finally handled one myself I can see why. It's an awesome "big little knife". But which edge configuration do you think makes best use of the Dodo's blade shape? I generally prefer a PE on my knives, but I'm open to a SE on the Dodo if there is any advantage to it. Any thoughts?

I have the SE Dodo, and I feel it cuts very aggressively. It's just a wicked edge combined with the Dodo's edge geometry.

Like you my usual preference is for PE and I have a PE Dodo already, but it is a display queen. I am planning on trying an SE Dodo as EDC (but it appears to have vanished in transit <img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> ) as I think it will be a more aggressive cutter and, I hope, the chisel grind may be a bit easier to resharpen given the blade shape (ie only doing one side most of the time)

Thanks guys. After reading your replies I went over to eBay and found a NIB SE Dodo for $69. It's even a black one to boot, instead of the usual blue. So it looks like I'll be giving the SE Dodo a try.
