Dear Sal ;

I understand that the C25GP Centofante clip-it was discountinued, In my

current Spyderco catalog I see a C25G. I was

just curious about the difference between the

two. I seen it ( the C25GP ) listed for sale

by a company called Safe & Knife for about

$ 70.00 and intend to purchase it. Any possible collectibility in the future ?

Hi Allen,

Sal can elaborate more on this question but I think I can give you some information....
There is no difference between a C25GP and C25G. C25 is the model number, the "G" stands for G-10 handle, the "P" indicates plainedge. An "S" would mean the unit is serrated (C25GS).

It has been discontinued (along with the larger version of the same model, the C50)to make way for the New Frank Centofante collaboration coming this summer, the Vesuvius. For this reason it will have some collectability somewhere down the road.

Before being discontinued, the C25G Frank Centofante had an MSRP of $135.95, the C50 MSRP was $152.95.

Hope that helps!

Joyce
