What not to do at Ikea.
So the wife wants to get new hardwood floors and get rid of that nasty carpet. After badgering me for a couple of months we decide to go for it. We(she) shops around and finds Ikea has the best price on thier new glueless hardwood laminate floor. So we measure the rooms that we plan to do add it up, pack the kids into the Excursion and go. After spending a few hours shopping, eating, and more shopping we(I) start to load up the car in the loading dock. I manage to basically fill the back of the Expy up to the top, half with flooring, half with the rolls of plastic and pad. About the time I am finishing the wife gets the kids and other bags of stuff into the car. Now for the fun part, I go to shut the doors on the back of the Expy and can't. Not because it is too full but the doors are stuck on the concrete pillars they put around the loading dock so you can't steal the cart's. Well i sure as heck am not going to unload all this stuff, and I am not going to scrape the doors all up by driving foward. So after thinking for a minute I end up using the pallet jack that the flooring was on to jack up the back of the car and swing the doors shut.
any foor is almost done:
