I am a addict. It came on slowly. I bought a Spydie and I thought great knife I better get a backup. Then I thought wouldn't it be nice with stainless handles. Then I see one in a new steel gotta try that. Is there a holics Anonymous? It is getting a little scary.

Welcome, fellow holic.
This is the place to be.
At least you are among friends who understand your affliction, even if there is no known cure...

holism is also accompanied by the endless thirst to produce the perfect edge. I just ordered a Native with a S30V blade. I can't wait to get my hands on it.

Oh dear!
I can't wait for my next "fix", the black Military. This has got me worried. Is there and definitive number of knives you have to have bought before you are considered an complete no-hoper?

When you buy all of the Spydies you go into terminal detox and are put into a asylum where you spend the rest of your life trying to sharpen plastic dinnerware and babbling to yourself.

Your case is hopeless . I only hope you can infect more sheeple . In general its pretty harmless ailment , anyway its cheaper than being a flyfishing nut (as I am ) ,or developing a passion for classic double guns . You could be a Snap On tool freak (mea culpa ) .

My condition worsened today. My Bill Moran Lightweight came. WOW that thing is unbelieveably sharp and that sheath can be worn a dozen ways. I can't wait to try it on a deer. My Native should be here Thursday and I will get to try the CPMs30v steel. If it is a good as VG-10 I will be thrilled.

Hello fellow "collectors"?
I am certainly going to have to slow down! At the last count I had 86 Spydies and another 30 to trade/sell. I wonder what happens when I get to 100? I don't think I want to know! It's a bit frightening! I've yet to find one that I don't love.

redhawk, it's good to know I've got friends on the inside!
Of course, it's all the people on the outside who are the REAL whackos!

Come on down timlara. Those straitjackets are no match for a spydie.
BargainBlades do the laws in England allow you to carry your blades. That is a great collection. Got any pics of em?

hi all
my name is david and i'm a holic. at least i'm in good company and it is a pretty harmless addiction (that's what they all say i know)
i have about 40 spydies, never use them - just take them out to oogle them, open and close them and then oil them.
i should resist but have to ask - bargain blades - which ones do you have for sale?
cheers and keep up the good work.
regards
david
