Discontinued C25GP

I am planning to order the C25 through

a company called Safe & Knife, which I saw

in the May issue of BLADE magazine. I checked

out the company's website ( as their toll-free line was not working ) and found

the site was "under construction" ; I am a

bit worried about this company being a "fly-

-by-night", notwithstanding the price being

under $ 70.00 ( the C25 was about $ 135.00

when it was in production ). Has anyone out

there dealt with this company before ?

I saw the same ad. I have wondered about them before myself. I think they would be safe and they have been around awhile. About a year ago I talked to someone with that company and they mailed me a list of "closeout" knives but I never purchased from them. I would wait and see if the toll-free works though!

Just wanted to drop you guys a note. Safe and knife is an actual brick and mortar knife store. Great people to deal with. Been around for years, used to be part of another store and it was spun off as its own they were doing so well. John is the manager and is a great guy but if you want to deal then talk to Jesse, he'll do you a great deal if he can. Tell him Jey York passed on his name ( won't get any special deals but he'll know where you are coming from) Just my 2 cents worth.
