Hi everybody!

I just got my Centofante III today and just wanted to show you the newest addition to my little but growing collection.

I like this knife very much but at the first glance the thickness of the blade seems a bit strange if you are used to blades of 3 or 4 mm. Despite that it's a great knife for the money.

And now the pics <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> :

Ooh no liners! I did wonder.

There is a nested liner on the clip side only. Looks great.

Chux - Make no mistake. Altough you don't see the liner from the outside, this knife is fitted with a 'nested' liner inside the handle. The steel liner provides strenght and serves as the base for the clip screws which will not hold very dependable in the G-10.
So, you don't see the liner from the out side but it is certainly there. Spyderco really is dependable High Tech quality!!

Clipits work!

Jurphaas: I was mainly making that assumption from the top. I'm glad to hear it is still linered though. Thx

Aren't the handles FRN?

Yes, the handles are FRN, but there is also a nested liner. It isn't visible when you're looking at the spine but you can see a glance of the liner on the first photo that I've posted. I don't think that this liner mainly serves to make the handle stronger but to provide a thread for the clip-srews.

Anyway - it's good to know that it is there although the Centofante III with it's 2 mm blade is surely NOT a heavy duty folder.

But hey, it cuts and cuts and cuts....

Cheers, Robert

Great pictures. I like the knife and the background that you used.
