Hey, I would like to know who is in charge of the Collectors' Program now. I do have an issue that needs to be remedied which is that I did not recieve any type of letter with my knives from my dealer, and the dealer (Fox Firearms) did not send me a reciept or even an invoice to show me how much the knives where that I purchase (Centofante III, Black Military, and Kerambit). Is this a dealer problem??? or is it just a few kinks with the shift of who is in charge of the program. I would really like to hear a response on this either here or email me at ekerne@msn.com ... I'm not sure I want to stay in this program if this is how it is going to be maintained from now on either by Spyderco or my dealer. If its a dealer problem I certainly would like to know of another dealer I can go through seeing Alex had suggested this one. By the way, I also contacted him (Jim Fox) twice in the last couple of days since I recieved these knives. I've not heard back from him on either issue. Please let me know something, so I can decide wether to stay or not with the program. Thanks!

Okay, I finally got my Black Military, Centofante III, and Kerambit from my dealer whom I got in touch with today because I recieved no letters with the knives or even an invoice saying what I paid for them. The individual I spoke with told me that they got the knives later than their stock shipment from Spyderco and that no letters came with the collectors' knives this time around. So he told me he would contact Spyderco to make copies to send out with the next round of knives. Hopefully, I'll get the new Yojimbo quicker this time. Anyhow, I still think the turn around time on the knives needs to be looked at in the shipping department at Spyderco. I'm already missing Alex...are you all? Anyhow, I think I'll stick this program out a little while longer and see what happens this next round.

Joyce is in Germany with Sal and the crew. So it will be a few days before she will be able to answer your question.

Hello Kudzu,

Well I hate to eat my words...I told you several weeks ago to stay calm, collector knives take time and all that stuff.

It's getting a little ridiculous now. The last knives shipped to me were the Salt and Persian. I've seen new models sell on ebay that I have yet to see (Yolimbo, Black Military, etc.), so I know they're out there. If you see this post, Joyce, please help!

Tis alright Swede! Though I must say...I think I shook a tree and mine fell out and were shipped to me. *chuckle* But you couldn't pay me enought to stand under a tree that knives fall out of even if they were free! Anyhow, the scoop I got from my dealer is that this last batch of collector #ed knives went out after the regular stock. So your dealer is just now probably recieving the knives. I know that the guy I spoke to said he got them and turned around so fast to ship them out he forgot to have the girls put in the invoices and reciepts. He also stated that the paper that usually has all the knife info from spyderco were not sent out with the knives too him. So he is going to contact spyderco to make some copies for the ones I don't have and send them with the next batch...which I'm presuming is the Yojimbo! Anyhow, I think this little snag was all because our beloved Alex has left the life of the knive knuts and entered into that of parenthood. I hope she and her family are well. Maybe Joyce will be so kind as to give us an update on her. Well, I've babbled on enough now...let me know it when you get them.
