I've been posing this question in various threads, thought I might as well ask you.
Regarding differences between the Endura S/S and Lightweight models:
Compared to the lightweight model in ATS-55, with 50/50 blade option...The S/S version appears to only be available in AUS-6 steel, minus the David Boyle detent, and without the option of a 50/50 blade style. Why is this? Is it strictly a marketing decision to simplify product lines?
I ask because I really do like the looks and feel of the S/S knife, but wish I didn't have to "give up" the abovementioned features to get it. There is nothing wrong with the lightweight version, that's for sure...but to me, the S/S rendition looks like a work of art.
