anyone love the spyderhawk?

i've got a PE Spyderhawk Bladeforums Model in the mail on it's way to my pocket. Anyone have any experience with this one? I'm excited to interview it for EDC status. it's got stiff competition with my dodo.

I passed a forum 'hawk on to KBR <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> I rather
liked it ; but I'm more a SE SpyderHawk type.

The SE Cricket is my EDC though. <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

PE is a general over-all good utility edge ;
SE is more aggressive ( according to <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>'s literature ) but confined as far as a &quot;fine job&quot; where PE excels.

I only carried mine for 2 weeks, never really used it. Thought it might be a good collectable some day. Also foundit quite big and with the hawkbill it is not very sheeple friendly. A very nice Spydie though I must say. Love the blue handle. Take Care!!!

I do! I do! BOY do I LOVE my PE Blue 'Hawk I recently got from my good friend Mancer! This is one scary guy to have IWB!(No, not Mancer, the 'Hawk!..UNLESS Casiopeia has something to say? LOL!)

I love the size and feel, and have gone through the ritual of &quot;air strikes&quot; w/ it as i also practice MBC...Didn't have the heart to run a contact test with it, although I am sure I'd have reached the dowel w/ it on my training &quot;limbs&quot;.

Matriarch is my EDC for street carry, and the 'Hawk has earned a place among my collection as it is one of my more cherished knives being that it came from my friend Mancer. About the only time I'll carry it outside of my home is to Mancer's wedding...LOL!

It is a sweet knife not an EDC for me either. Not that it is too big(I carried a Civilian for 10 years) it is a little too specialized for my EDC need's.
