OT: Your favourite pocket lighter

Most of us here seem to carry knives, keychain microlights, EDC flashlights, various other stuff and MORE knives in our pockets and secreted on various other parts of our person.



SO: What about a good source of fire? What is your favourite pocket lighter and why?

I carry a plain large brushed ss zippo on my right hip. nice fold out pouch.

Back it those days when I was smoking, I had in my pocket (the one that didn't have the knife) a zippo. I have several of them but my favorite was the 1950' replica model my girlfriend bought me some time ago. Now that I'm older and a bit more sophisticated, I'd like to buy one of Porsche Design lighters or maybe an old fashion Dunhill. But let's face it, when smoking inside, there's nothing cooler than a strike anywhere match. Simple and classy.

For my occasional cigar I like my Blazer microtorch. Ugly but very functional. For my even rarer time smoking a pipe I like to use matches.

While still smoking I carried a Zippo.
Be wary of the ones with printed designs, though, mine started to flake off.
When I polished all of it away, the chrome came off, too.
Now it is all brass with engraved &quot;TRUST NO ONE&quot;,

Zippos are classic but I kinda like Solo lighters, the nickel weatherproof Storm model in particular!
