I need some help. I have a statistics project coming up in 2 weeks, and I need some raw data that I will have to put into a linear regression or some other model. I want to do it on knives, of course, and I was wondering 2 things. 1)Anybody have any suggestions for what I should do? Hypothesis, whatever. It's stat 1, so it needn't be too hard. 2)can anybody at <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> land give me any data? Lock breaking data or something? Hopefully someone will have a good idea on what to do. Thanks, Joe
Learning Can Be a Painful Experience
Just for kicks and giggles I plotted recently the correlation between Grid # and particle size of Japanese water stones. Data is readily available, otherwise I can just mail you the data. The fit is actually not so straight forward, but I could give you some hints there aswell.

I always use SPSS (www.spss.com). It's a great computerprogram for statistics.
