Will Spyderco ever come up with a full tang fixed blade for the man in the field?

I was thinking of something along the line of the Busse type. Of course, the ultimate design would be uniquely Spyderco.

We don't want anything that doesn't smell or look like a Spyderco.

However, it is Spyderco's company policy only to stick to folders. I was thinking it might be great for Spyderco to venture forth and make a real working man's fixed blade - with that luminous, glow-in-the-dark Spider logo on the handle!

How about that? And also etch another Spider logo on the blade.

I don't think they're full tang, but the Spyderco/Bill Moran fixed blades have been out for quite a while. There are other fixed blades in development, just search here and at the Bladeforums Spyderco forum for info.

Hi Golok. As mentioned, we have two Moran models. We also have two new FB models in the works. Lum & Perrin.

Pssst - I think GOLOK is hinting about having a TACTICAL0-GOLOK or SPECWAR PARANG on the works! *hee-hee!* Well, for starters, Goloks are utility blades which are commonly used in Malaysia. Guess golok haven't been going through Spyderco's inventory eh?
