Question, my father is retired and travels about n America. He planning to head into Canada. He carries a CZ-75 in his motorhome but rightly feels he should ditch the weapon before entering the country. Do any of you wise folks have advise as to how he may do this other than leaving it w/ me in Denver before driving all the way back up north.? I'm thinking poss. leaving it someplace @ the point of entry on this side. Advice?

I say he should leave it with you, provided you're licensed to own firearms and the like. It's not worth the risk of getting it confiscated and him getting in a lot of trouble, IMO.
If he is not coming in the fall for hunting then he could land himself in BIG troubles. If you were not going to be using it then why does he have it in his motorhome???? That is what they are going to ask him first. Leave it at home is my opinion. Tell him he can carry any knife he would like. As long as it is not a auto or butterfly. Oh and not concealed either. 12 inch Bowie strapped to his leg...OK. Hope this helps, Take Care!!!
