Has anyone seen one of these? I mentioned in one of the other threads that I thought I saw this knife at my local dealer, but I can't find a reference to this model anywhere...maybe it was something else?
It did look like the Rookie/Police model family though as it had the reduced top of the blade tip like a Police model. I think I really should buy this if it's still there, as the Rookie line is now discontinued and it's sounding like I should buy a serrated blade next. Jeff/1911.

Jeff/1911,
I have a G10 Rookie with the serrated edge and recommend it highly. I had a plain edge version but I gave it to my fiancee to use in the yard and hiking (she won't carry it anywhere else unfortunately) so I had to go buy myself a replacement. The handle is a little small for some people, but it doesn't bother me in the slightest and I'm 6'3"/250lbs. The greatest thing about this knife is that it packs the maximum amount of blade possible into that handle length. There's about a mm between the tip of the blade and the end of the handle. I don't think you will be disappointed in this one as long as it fits your hand well. Of course it is of the usual Spyderco quality. I was sorry to see this one discontinued.

Dennis, You have one of these G-10 Rookie's don't you? I thought I remembered seeing your comments in a past thread. If so, do you have any pictures of this knife? Or, of a G-10 Standard model, a G-10 Police? Just wondering...Jeff/1911.

I do have one that I sometimes carry. It is a nice daily carry knife. It amazes me how much blade they packed in there.
