Hey I am new to this forum.

I was on bladeforums until bram got kicked off, now it seems like a huge whole is there so I no longer go. knife forums...there are too many forums, papa bear says this is just right.

I am travelling in india and thailand for the past 3 months. I have carried my delica in the right pocket and the endura in the left.

I have got to say these are the best damn knives to have here. I have cut watermelons, mangoes, pineapples, rope, bags, threads, peeled ginger, etc. I haven't had to use it for self defense so far but I there were a few times I had it in my hand. I couldn't imagine only having a swissarmy knife. it would be pure misery. though the toothpick has been handy.

carrying the 2 knives has deffinitely given me a little more of that go forwardness in wierd times. I know I have a tool that can get a lot done effortlessly.

the edge hasn't needed any touchups.

you should see the quality of the knives here. absolute crap! except for the coconut cutters that are really interesting but still not of our standards.

thanks spydie !!!!!!

Welcome, phadthai. Glad to hear of your favorable experience with these great knives. Is one serrated and one plain edged, by any chance? Jeff/1911.

Hi Phadthai. Welcome to the Spyderrco forum. We try to make it a fun and informative place to visit.

I saw that Bram is posting on Bladeforum, but I didn't se his own forum there. He's been asking about maintaining an MBC forum here.

hey guys thanks for the welcome.

1911> both are plain edge which I prefer. I feel for the type of cutting I do plainegde works best. It seems to me that serrated is best for rope and for people who don't know how to sharpen.

I also wanted to say I own the police, civilian and the military but for travelling I chose the clipits for lightness and cost of replacing.

I hope Bram hosts a forums here he is dynamic and reminds me of my highschool gym coach...ie. tough love stuff.

thanks again

Sounds like a great idea to me. It will definitely be a success. I'm looking forward to Bram's MBC forum.
