Here's a shot of the 2 colored Dyads I've managed to find. Were there other colors aside from black / micarta?

Hi Stevie Ray,

Those are beauties! I'm no authority on the color variations, but yours, plus the black FRN and micarta are all I've seen.

Man, are those sweet! I wish some flavor of Dyad would make a comeback. Where do you find this stuff, Stevie Ray?!?! (Of course, you'd be a fool to reveal your sources! <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> ) Nice catch.

I know that Greenes Military in Knoxville TN has a blue Dyad Jr in stock along with a SS PE Calypso Jr #ed and a Micarta Calypso jr.

As far as I know those are the only two colors made.

This thread got me thinking so I pulled out my old Dyad.
I have the original micarta version with the box marked MINI DYAD C39P&amp;S. The scales are a greenish brown like those on the old micarta Wayne Goddards.
I then pulled out some specs/paperwork from 1997 that shows the original name during development was GEMINI. I imagine after settling on MINI DYAD it later went to DYAD Jr. and DYAD Jr, Lightweight.

I attached a pic to show the green scales against the black clip.

I don't know if this cleared up or created more confusion.
