WOW Just got my new Chinook, and you are not kidding me, this one is a pure winner. Jim you did a great job , and Sal, what a preformance. This thing not only walks and talks but stands up and sings. Massive yet light, I didnt know the weight reducing milling was done on the liners. Just look inside and see-- also you can take it apart for cleaning if it is a have to.And for us lefties,a reverseable clip, thanks! Great job Spyderco, this is useable fine quality. No offence Chris but your large Sebenza went to the drawer and the Keating 2 in the pocket. Do you all agree?

The Chinook II is custom grade. No doubt about it. Pure cutting performance.

An Chinook III with Drop or Spear Point for the future....!?!

SpydercoJoe,

Your thread reminds me that there are too many Spydercos and too few pockets to carry them all.

spydercojoe:

Go to www.folders-r-us.org and look to the index for knife tests. There is an extensive test and eval of the original which should give you an idea what can be expected of the Chinook.

I've had both, the #2 is lighter with a blade mod but basically just an upgraded version which makes it that much better in mosts opinions.
