I'm unfamiliar with this clip-it design. Is this an authentic Spydie, or a knockoff? This knife is on e-bay.

It is real.It is called the Economy andf is from about 1984.

If you collect, go for it! It’s a C05 Economy and seems to be in a great shape.

The problem with this particular type of clip is that it destroys the material of your pants (or whatever you attach your knife to). <img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>
It kinda scissors the clothing, that's why they put the 3 screws clip as we know it now.
