Yeah folks, there are some things that are so precious, it will take a pry-bar to remove them from you.. Which would it be? Mine is an Endura : Owned, carried and used by Poppa Spyder himself.. What is yours?

Aloha Samo'
Wow, what a score! As for myself, I will most likely not part w/ any Spyders or other knives I have received from my friends off this Forum! I'd name them, but I don't know if they want to be known...so I'll just leave it at that.
The knives, 99% of them Spyderco's, from my friends here have a priceless sentimental value to them. While a lot of the Spyders I have received from these guys are still readily available, they still mean a lot to me. It warms my heart when I do my maintenance, or I just wanna handle my Spyders and I pull one out from a Forum friend. I think of the Forum, our shared e's, trades...I think about them.
"Here's The Proof" (Ahem) I was offered a used Lum aluminum Tanto today from a co-worker and he wanted my CS CarbonV "Scottish Dirk", my Salsa and Meerkat. I had no probs w/ the CS, but the 2 mentioned Spyders were from a Forumfriend. So he decides on the CS Dirk, FRN CE Horn, Blue PE Spyderhawk. NOPE. Them 2 Spyders are from two Forumfriends...Now, it was the CS Dirk, Herbst Ti 2nd, Vesuvius w/blue inlay. 'kay, you guys can guess where them 2 Spyders came from by now!
Did I make the trade? Eventually, yes. My CS Dirk (Culloden), one of my AUS8 Safekeeper III's, my last CS CE clip point neck knife, this out of production Gerber LED Multi-tool, and an old Balisong from the Phillipines are now his... The Lum is not anywhere near new, but it is a Spyder after all, and one I didn't have...until now.
One thing is for certain regarding MY Spyders that I bought, which I will not let go of...FRN integrated PE Endura, and 1st Gen SE Dragonfly. These were my very "first".
Nothing like yours Samo'! But they mean just as much to me.
God will put you over...if you let Him! John 14: 13,14...try it, it WORKS!

I too am quite reluctant when it comes to parting with spydies. The very most of them are from my friends formites, therefore are of great sentimental value. Among them there are: Ladybug (my first spydie); PE Delica ATS-55 (my first Delica and also my first "real size" spydie); my wife's Chinook (just try to take it away from her, he, he); a CF Delica SE (special gift from Sal & co.), SS Dragonfly PE (another gift from Spyderco for my little son), a beautiful Shabaria and the Calypso jr., the Mini Police necklaces... boy, I guess I'll count all of them eventually

Hello All!
I am not a wealthy man (monetarily) but collecting Spydies has become a real passion! As I look after my kids full time, I have to personally do without some of lives other niceties in order to add knives to my collection. This isn't a bad thing as I no longer smoke, or drink alcohol too frequently (is that possible?)
This being the case, I will not part with any of my knives! Each one of them I regard as a work of art that I have worked hard to obtain.
Living in the UK limits me to the type of knives I can obtain. I will probably never own a knife as exciting as yours Samo, but I can dream!
Going a wee bit OT, I would like to thank one of the Forumites for being extremely helpful in sending Spydies to me from the U.S.A. Timlara has been a true gentleman! He has made it possible for me to obtain knives not normally shipped to the UK. So a BIG thanks to Tim for all of his efforts and to all other members here for all of the help and information freely given.
Regards Ken

My SE Co-Pilot because I got it after my wife and I survived several trees falling on the road where we drove in a surprize hurricane (it was as though we had a mystic co-pilot keeping us alive because everywhere we were about to stop our car and wait it out had a tree or log when we circled back).
My red Salsa, S30V Native PE, Delica, Calypso Jr., SE Meerkat, and PE Merlin because they are gifts from my wife.
So my black Dodo, Salbenza, and future Spydies may some day be up for grabs.
I have two...my 440V PE Military - an anniversary present from my wife-and a SE Dragonfly - a present from a fellow forumite.

Wow - some great stories here so far, and that's a heckuva catch Samo's got there!
I too would find it hard to part with any of my Spydies - my friends think I'm nuts as I can mess with them all for hours on end - but the one I keep coming back to time and again is the Lil' Temp I got from Ken (BargainBlades) for all the "trouble" I've gone to on behalf of his Spydie-Addiction. (Thanks Ken!!!)
It's been a real treat to meet so many cool knife people online -- I actually feel sorry for non-knife folks who don't "get it"!

Tim,
Don't feel sorry for those fat-pocketed, non-ODC-suffering, non-Yojimbo-jonesing folks. Many of them are good people, too. They just don't find themselves in as many "Carbon fiber Civilian or Blue Rescue, black Dodo, and S30V Native or Matriarch and G10 Civilian or Chinook II, Delica, and Maddox" dilemmas. Actually, no, wait. You're right. Having those type of problems and having friends who will encourage you to buy all of the listed knives plus a few Calypso Juniors is better.
Forget Conan's stuff about crushing enemies and hearing the lamentation of the women, none of that world conquest garbage compares to getting a new ClipIt.

Which Spydie(s) would I never part with?
I'd have to say, my first one, a CE Native 440V. For EDC, all-around use, it's THE perfect knife.

My VG10 Cal Jr I was given by Sal and Joyce at IWA, my American flag 'Q' knife and my Wayne Goddard C16S.
My first Spyderco was an Endura (fully serrated) and I gave that to my dad. He loves that knife and it was a constant companion of mine for a couple of years. I miss that knife, but ever time I go over I sneak a peek at it and always offer to give it a sharpen etc!

The that I would never part with is definitely my S30V Military PE. I've had three Millies before, but this one is definitely the best made to date, IMO...although I haven't handled a Black Military yet(on my wish list).

I may keep my military, and I'll always have an Endura around as well.
