I liked the Tufram Cricket but a) the edges were sharp, b) the Grey was a little 'blah' to me, and c) I was bored yesterday... so:
I stripped of the Tufram and gave the baby a ScotchBrite finish and a new shiny clip.
Not only does it look perfect, the lock-up got tighter. Having taken the whole thing apart, cleaned, polished and re-assembled it, the liner now sits exactly against the left of the blade. Perfect. No play.
It's already been with my change and keys so it has a character starting to appear.
Just do it! (Unless you're a collector who wants to keep it original for value)
