I thought I read on the MBC forum(somewhere/sometime) that the Ronin was going to switch to G10 grips?? Anyone??
I am probably wrong, or misunderstood. Just trying to clarify.

Dear Blades:
The original production of the Ronin was about 2,000 pieces. Because the contours of the handles of these were hand ground, there can be very slight dimensional variances from knife to knife. To eliminate this in any future production, I suggested a switch to textured G-10 slabs, which should be dimensionally consistent and eliminate the problem (which isn't really an issue of the knives, but the mass production of sheaths). I don't know if this suggestion will work, or what plans Spyderco has for future production of the Ronin.
I hope this helps.
Stay safe,
mike j
