Meerkat or Delica for EDC?

I am feeling the need to buy yet another spyderco. Having been out of the market for a year or two, what are your opinions on the Meerkat or the Delica for EDC? Thanks in advance.

What did you own before? Any preferences or needs? A lot of good knives out there for EDC but it really depends on the carrier...

Between the two, I'd pick the Delica.
Light, slim, strong lock, wicked sharp and yet you'd barely feel it in your pocket. It is really affordable and a best seller for good reason. You can use it for utility and yet it is also exactly one of the few knives you'd hope to have on you should you need something in a self-defense situation.

Mind you, we seldom stop at one EDC...

An easy one! DEFINITELY the Delica! You just cannot beat the size and handling of this <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> classic!

I like the Meerkat, but for EDC, the Delica for me!

Without a doubt, <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>Delica. A good average sized, general purpose EDC.

Definately the Delica...I don't think I'd go any smaller for EDC. Of course, you could always carry a small one for utility, opening your mail etc. and a larger one for opening peo...never mind <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>. I currently carry a delica and a 4&quot; Camillus CUDA although I'm about to retire the CUDA in favor of an Endura.

Ok. So far it seems that the Delica might be the way to go. Shards... I currently have a SE Endura that is about 11 years old, and an aluminum handled PE Cricket (which is what I usually carry). I guess what I am looking for is something solid that is smaller than the Endura but larger than the Cricket. Thanks to everyone for all the great comments so far.

bpg&gt; for sure the Delica. Great EDC and a nice compliment to a SE Endura. You could also try the Native or even a bit bigger the new Para Military. Take a look at and handle a Dragonfly too then. If you usually carry the Cricket, it might be just the right size for you. Otherwise, the Delica is the best bet!
