Grades of Steel

can anyone enlighten me on the different grades of steel used on knives, is there a website or any informative source?

Spyderco has a steel chart that includes 37 different types of exotic steel. There is some very useful information on the reverse side of the chart that is pecular to steel for the tecnicaly inclined. I am sure Spyderco would be happy to send you a steel chart. I recomend SFO for more information.
