I just got my Paramimitary, and other than having to get used to the compression lock release,it seems to be the perfect pocket knife for me.I remember reading that someone on this forum was putting tritium in Military spydies for that "custom" touch.Who is this guy,and has he done any Paramilitary's yet? What is the proper way to resharpen CPMS30V when and IF it gets dull? What is the strange little design on the right side of the blade in front of the thumb hole on my Paramilitary? THANKS in advance guys!

I have a tritium viele in mine.SC_Rebel1957 milled the slot in the spacer for me.Best I can remember there isn't a good spot to put one in a Para unless you somehow install one of the small trit tubes out of a glowdisk in the lanyard hole.
The best way to sharpen it is on a Spyderco 204 Sharpmaker.Touch it up ever couple of weeks is the best way to keep it sharp,if you let it get really dull it can be a pain to resharpen.
The design on the blade is the Spydie bug.

THANKS for the reply! My Para has the spydie bug on the left side of the blade, but I have never seen the new Spyderco design on the right side of the blade. My daughter just showed me that it appears to be the Spyderco emblem. Is that it?

I have been thinking about putting something like tritium on one of my knifes. I was thinking of using ecoglo. (www.ecoglo.com)

The stuff glows well after it has had some light on it, and it is cheap to buy. Comes in blue and green.

If you e-mail them you may be able to get a sample posted out to you for free. Its not a classy as tritium but is a whole lot cheaper and easier to work.
