Howdy,

I just recieved my titanium-handled Bob Lum and it is beautiful. I was wondering; do these handles require any special care, do some have titanium pocket clips, and how do I tell if the liner lock is titanium or not?

Thanks,

Stu

Titanium handle?? Is yours a custom Bob Lum or a green handled Spyderco Bob Lum?? The spyderco Bob Lum is aluminum handled. Which one do you have??

the first run of Tanto Lums were Titanium handled(check discontinued section of product listings). I'm betting the clip and liner aren't titan., probably stainless.

Blades and KenN, thank you for your responses.

I was not clear. It is the Tanto folder (SC-46P), not the Chinese Folder (SC-65P).
I understood that some of these have the titanium liner. I am unfamiliar with titanium and do not know how to distinguish it from stainless steel. This knife's liner looks like stainless to me.

The clip is the same color as the titanium handle, but I do not know if it is coated to appear that way or if it is titanium as well.

Thanks.

Take care,

stu

Ahhhhh...oops. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle> I forgot about the tanto. When some one says &quot;Bob Lum&quot; I think &quot;Chinese Folder&quot; <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
Sorry.
