Well here goes.
Most of this is job related
Sore hands, maybe Athur I Tus is starting to visit me
Lower back pain that travels into leg, pinched nerve I belive because it has gotton some better over the last year
Left knee pain if I keep in bent or straight for a long time
Upper back and hip pain, strained I think because of new smaller forklifts.Just started after we got them and has not completely gone away since.
None of this is bad enough that Motrin won't take care of except the lower back pain,as I said it is better now than what it was but for about 8 months 2 years ago after getting up from a seated position it would take me 30 to 40 steps to straighten all the way up.

Over the course of my teenage years and years on the job:
1. Two broken right knuckles.
2. Broken rt. finger (next to pinkie)
3. Broken rt. pinkie finger.
4. Broken left wrist (on the job)
5. Spinal/cervical injury that pains me to this day (also on the job, took a punch to the side of head. Luckily, head is very thick, lol).
6. Feet/back/knee pain from standing on concrete floor all day. The heels and bottoms of my feet are literally numb from the standing.
7. Various bruises/bumps/contusions from being beaten/kicked/punched/elbowed on the job.

Other than that, I've led a very cushy life.

i have a really bad knee.. should go under the knife next month

other than that i never broke any bones or anything.. i know i'm only 21 but i already have quite an impressive accident record.. i fell out of the second floor, got hit by a car twice, an elevator fell on me (don't ask :D ), a half ton door closed on me.. not to mention a few good kicks to the face & ribs (kickboxing & full contact can do that).
& the list is miles long

Dear Allen,

As I always said, I am a God spoiled child. I have never had severe injuries. When I was 18, I lifted a heavy stone and I made a small hernia (at least this is what the doctor told me. I was hoping that this will save me from the military service, but it didn't) However, I made some exercises and looks like the tissue regenerated without the need for an operation. I had a pretty active and healthy life, working in the forest and my diet hardly sees any meat, but lots of veggies - though I must confess that I have a (very) weak spot for chocolate and stuff like this - so I didn't experienced severe overweight (a funny thing is that when I was in the army I gained weight in a way I can call spectacular: 2 pounds every week, so in three month I was so fat that my own aunt didn't recognize me, imagine that). It was all solved after another 6 month in the army, maybe my body regained its regular pace. I still like to make a lot of sport, I don't drink (not even Coke or similar) nor smoke, so I can't complain much of my health status (a cold, a sore throat or sporadic pains in my knees and back. Headaches seems to be a problem though, could be because of those damn computers I spend 10 ÷ 16 hours a day in front of). And yes, when I drink coffee, my heart goes boom, but I guess it's normal for someone who drinks a cup a week.
Yet, I had my share about 5 years ago, when I was sooo close to kick the bucket. I suddently became very ill, dizzy and very weak and my skin turned green (no joke, it really was mud green, looks like I didn't need any camouflage paint on my face and body and my eyes were an intense yellow instead of white. Spent a couple of months in the hospitals, 4 perfusions a day, antibiotics, anyway the doctors never figured exactly what it was, as the results of the analysis were showing that I'm OK, but hey, it's Romania, I know some stories about our medical service that would give you the creeps.
Well, to make a long story short, they finally let me go as most of my green tan was off and I was feeling pretty good. And from that day forth, nothing out of the ordinary. This is one of the many reasons I praise God

I.V.- I just read about your kickboxing injuries; Had any good shin-to-shin contact latley? I did kickboxing about three years ago and my shins are still lumpy. other than that, Most of my fingers have been broken or badly sprained, my right thumb likes to pop out of socket once in a while, Arthritis in both hands and right hip, Sporadic heart palipitations, and a murmur that is loud enough to be heard W/O a stethascope. Oh, and an extermly embarrising hemmroid problem complete with two mayjor operations to remove them. But right at this moment I feel great because I just ate a bowl of the most excellent chili.

Hi I.V. I know it's very unusual to gain fat in the army. Those days the military service was from 9 months up to 2 and a half years (depending on the branch and if you were a student or not - I wasn't a student and I specialized in the artillery so the military service took about one year and a half for me). Before this, I was working as a woodcutter, it was a very exhausting job, 10 or 12 hours a day, 6 days a week, a chainsaw was a luxury and it was given only to the "veterans" so we were asigned just axes . Not to mention I had to walk more than 10 miles daily to the work and back.
I remeber I was telling to the girls I was dating to that those rough hands were from the barbells at the fitness centre (LOL) , which wasn't entirely a lie, as I was going daily to the dojo - practiced judo since highschool - unfortunately not any more now .
When I arrived in the army, there was by far less work to do, a tight schedule, regular meals and sleep (and no girls, as you probably figured out already) .

Vox -

Although I've given up the "spirits" ( as they say in England ) I still
get "hung over" by the oxycontin I'm taking for my injury ;) But that's
how you can tell an effective painkiller - you "feel" ( or is that not
feel ) it the next day :D

Kinda remind's me of Tommy Roe's song "dizzy" -

Diz-zy
I'm so diz-zy, my head is spin-in'
Like a whirlpool it never ends
And it's you girl makin' it spin
You're makin' me diz-zy
