S&R knives in Toronto have excellent prices. However, they are out of control. Here’s what happened.
- Ordered 3 knives, 1 each: Rookie II, Delica II, and Endura II.
- 2 weeks later (took 1 week for them to get around to shipping the order) we received:
Rookie II, Native II, and a damaged Endura II. No Delica II - they assumed that the guy that wanted
the Delica II would like a Native II instead and wouldn’t mind paying the extra.
- S&R would only give credit on the Native II that was not ordered, and would not accept back the damaged Endura II (Web site policy)
- The Native II plain edge was sent back to be exchanged for a Native II 50/50 edge. When the replacement was received, they sent back the same knife Native II plain edge.
This was our last order from S&R knives, good prices or not.
