Hello from Seki, Japan

Just wanted to say hello from Seki City, Japan where many Spydercos are made. I just finished two days at the knife festival and had an incredible time. Among the more interesting items that I have found; a SS Cricket with rainbow titanium coating, a Q knife with the word Knife in the blade, and an older police with aluminum handles and no police logo on the blade. Japan is incredible, but this is not a place that you would want to be without assistance. It is amazing to see craftsmen working in a trade that has been active for 700 years. I hope to get pictures up at some point. I have only shot about 650 so far. Take care in the U.S., back on the 15th.

I did see a blue Jester PE. The store is closed today, but you can find them at G.Sakai Cutlery or Seto Cutlery. I fogot to mention that when I made a purchase I was given a ticket for a ticket from a box. If you ticket had the correct number you would win that item. I won an old style se Endura and two Buck carabiner knives. My day was already made by being there. This was the frosting on the cake. The Rainbow Cricket is really beautiful. I dont know if it will make it to the US. spyderwa

When I get back I will try to post pics of all of my new Spydercos. The "Knife" "Q" was the last one that they had. I think it was made for the G.Sakai company in Japan. I found a few Spyderkeys, and I will post those as well. Off to explore Tokyo. spyderwa

I just saw a OD PE Ladybug at my local gun show. I almost bought it. I don't remember the name of the booth/guy who had it. I'll ask my friend who went with me, maybe he knows.
