Sal, the Moki Evrina is finally in my hot and sweaty hands. It was held up in Customs for a week while they made sure that it was not some sort of lethal weapon. After the way Olive spoke about it I was expecting it to be beautiful, but it still took my breath away when I opened the case. My eldest daughter, who was with me, was also lost for words. The knife itself is custom quality, but the scrimshaw is outstanding. I wasn't expecting it to be so large or so detailed. My biggest problem now is "to use or not to use". On the one hand I want to carry it for the sheer pleasure of flashing around such a beautiful piece and on the other I want to keep it pristine. What more can I say, this is one knife that I can see staying in my family for generations to come.
Thank you very much indeed for giving me the opportunity to own such a special piece.
Take care,
Clay
Don't worry that the world might end tomorrow, in Australia it's tomorrow already.
